MAKING UP AND FINISHING

Tie a short length of cord onto each balloon for the string.

Lay your wicker wreath on a flat surface and use blocking pins to position your balloons where you want them to be. Glue firmly in place with a hot glue gun.

To finish off the wreath, add a hanging loop at the top and stitch or glue in place. Finally, add the cardboard luggage tag with your greeting.

Whether for a child’s bedroom or as an addition to your Christmas decorations, this wreath is designed with simplicity and understatement in mind. The three different-sized stars have been added to a dark twig wreath to make them stand out for full effect. To give each star extra twinkle a strand of metallic thread has been worked in with the yarn.
